MKVToolnix 7.9.0 Is a Massive Update with Multiple GUI Improvements

MKVToolnix, one of the most popular open-source and cross-platform software for manipulating MKV (Matroska) files under GNU/Linux, Mac OS X, and Microsoft Windows operating systems, has been updated today to version 7.9.0.

According to the changelog, MKVToolnix 7.9.0 is a major bugfix release that addresses issues discovered in the previous version of the software. For example, the build system will now check for Qt by default when running configure, a bug has been repaired in the mkvinfo tool.
